Maxville, Ontario, Canada

Every year, the city of Maxville, Ontario, hosts the Glengarry Highland Games, a three-day event consisting of traditional Scottish competitions, from bagpiping to highland dancing to the caber toss. So when painting their brand new water tank, the project team knew they wanted to honor these games and the Scottish tradition that surrounds the community. In the end, the tank was coated with the official Glengarry tartan, which was hand-painted to resemble the exact colors and textures of the original pattern using Tnemec’s high-performance fluoropolymer finish, Series V700 HydroFlon. This tank’s design will be one more attraction to welcome thousands of visitors to the games each year.
