The water tank in Lawrence, Ind., may look like it’s about to fly away, but the hot-air balloon is actually coated to stay put for decades. The many colors of the balloon, the basket, and the figures in it, were all created using Series 700 HydroFlon, Tnemec’s time-tested fluoropolymer topcoat formulated for color and gloss retention. As part of the Lawrence Utilities high-quality water system, the water tank will continue to help provide clean water to more than 14,000 customers in the area.
