Hot Springs, Arkansas

The Cornerstone Tank in Hot Springs, Ark., was destined to be a highly visible landmark for the whole community. From early in the planning stages, the owners wanted to ensure that the tank represented the beauty of the area to locals and visitors alike. The City of Hot Springs advertised a proposal request for local designers to submit their designs and, after several proposals were reviewed, the City chose a local artist, Ryan Rooney, and his mural illustration entitled “Welcoming Hills of Hot Springs.” The mural was painted on the tank itself by the tank fabricator, who utilized a long-lasting, high-performance fluoropolymer topcoat, Series 700 HydroFlon, to help keep the tank’s landscape motif shining for longer.
