Grafton, Ohio

The new logo on this elevated water tank in Grafton, Ohio, was designed to closely match the city’s downtown tower, but with the addition of sunburst graphics to signify Grafton’s commitment to renewable energy generation through solar power. Plus, the new logo now faces East to daily greet the morning sunrise over the city and is parallel to Main Street, allowing SR-57 passerbys the ability to see Grafton’s pride shine. To make sure that the new design lasts long into the future, but also meets local air district requirements for VOCs, the project team selected to use Tnemec’s low VOC fluoropolymer topcoat, Series V700 HydroFlon, which will help the logo and website on the tank retain its color and gloss for decades.
