Chehalis Village, WA

Side-by-side water tanks in Chehalis Village, Washington, stand as remarkable landmarks, each towering at 100 feet high over the Chehalis Reservation. These tanks are adorned with vibrant murals that were born from a design competition within the Chehalis Tribe. Two talented young tribal members, Ryan Burnett and Amanda "Cricket" Jennings, won the competition and their designs, with some modifications to suit the tanks' structures, became the foundation of the artwork. In a unique and meaningful collaboration, the two artists not only contributed their creative visions but also took part in executing the mural, using Tnemec's high-performance HydroFlon coating to bring their designs to life on these towering symbols of community and culture.
