(Tex•Cote®). Established in 1961, Tex•Cote manufactures high-performance, water-based coatings for use on commercial, residential and Department of Transportation (DOT) projects, according to Terry Wallace, Vice President – Business Development at Tnemec.

Textured Coatings of America, Inc. was founded in Los Angeles, California, and quickly established a reputation for high-quality coatings that extend repainting cycles for homeowners and commercial property owners. A majority ownership of the company was acquired from the founders by Stuart Haines in 1961, and under his leadership, the company expanded its sales throughout North America and internationally to more than 23 countries.
