Long-time human resources professional, Tracy Wakeman, joined the Tnemec team in 2020 after spending more than 20 years honing her skills as an expert in employee relations, talent acquisition and leadership training and development. Tracy began her career in human resources at Walt Disney World, where she learned many of the skills she still uses today, spending time as an intern and in a leadership position before returning to the Midwest. She spent the next 15 years in the media industry, providing her expertise for a local news outlet and national media organization before making a move to other industries and eventually finding her place in the high-performance coatings industry as Director of Human Resources for Tnemec. Tracy received her bachelor’s degree in HR/business management from Park University in Parkville, Missouri. When she’s not helping Tnemec employees, she enjoys reading, exercising, and spending time with her family and her dogs.
